Exam week coming

Im feeling so bad now.. exam coming in 2 weeks and i havent started doing any studies yet.
Everyone here is in "holiday mood" now coz its the last lecture week.

Maybe thats western lifestyle, as long as theres no more class, its considered holiday already.
Whereas, back in M'sia, this is the time when everyone make full use of the spare time to work as hard as they could for better results in the exam.

Well, I was so determine to start my studies on week 9. But then, its all because of that stupid tv series that made us stay up all night.

Besides, I consulted our fourth mechatronics senior who said
"Exam is still weeks to go, relax !"
Yea right, thanks a lot !
I don't know why did i trust him. Probably bcoz he made it to the fourth year?
Whats the point of getting A+ in every paper? A degree will be good enough for me.

That contributed to my procrastination as well. (Ya, i should thanks her for using this word so often, now im using it in my blog !)

I just feel that, if i dont enjoy my first year of uni, i probably wont get a chance to enjoy anymore in the near future coz its gonna get busier and busier each year.
And i will definitely regret later on.

Engineers vs Biologists

Today, in my biochemistry lecture, we were studying about environmental issues such as protecting the trees, water hygiene, pollutions and stuff ....

And I was thinking, WE(engineers), build structures and facilities such as dams, housing areas, factories to benefit US(human), while THEY(biologists) protest against US(engineers) to protect those creatures called "animals" ! Its like a war between human and human for the sake of saving animals. How contradictorily is that ?

I wonder, do biologists and engineers get along? and what are WE(engineers) doing in a [biology] class?
coz whenever we build something, THEY(biologists) are always there:

"this will lead to forest destruction, ....habitat destroyed, ....climate change, ....endangered species, ....extinction ...blah blah blah.........."

Theres just something culturally different between biologists and engineers. We are birthed from the same fundamental origin, but came out as two different branches that protest against each other.
Yet, ironically, we engineers are studying biology.



And there goes my 1 hour lecture, thinking about these irrelevant stuff...

First starbucks !

Yay, jz had my first starbucks last night !
You are thinking "kesiannya ! 18 yrs old and nver had starbucks b4 !". Yes, i know, lots of ppl told me that b4. Well, im starting to pity myself too.

So i decided that i have to try it at least once in a life time !
"erm, mayb once in a month...." said me after having the first sip...:)

Ok, i admit it is good, but does the difference between starbucks and Ih mocha(which isnt too bad) worth an extra 5 bux? I dont think so...

jz bcoz its good, doesnt mean it is expensive...
and jz bcoz its expensive, doesnt mean it should be that expensive...@.@ (ok, i dont know what im saying either, bt this is wat i am genuinely thinking.)

First blog ! ever...

My name is Eu Jian, Jian, toktok, ah jian, whichever u prefer i don rly care since name is jz a representation anyway... some ppl call me lily (u know who u r). Im currently doing my first yr degree of engineering in auckland university. And for those who dont know me, im 18 and yes i love to tease on ppl's age, i know that, u know that, Ying Xuan knows that...XD.

Too much to tell abt my past. So, instead of starting from 18 yrs ago, im jz going to start from tmrw coz its time for bed, zzz....
